I deleted some services from oreon web interface from:
Configuration> services (choose the unwanted service & delete it)
But in the monitoring tab it still showing the services & monitors them I don’t know why??
The deleted interfaces (used to define as services) are down now but it still sending hundreds of emails every day & now because I deleted the services I don’t know how to stop it??
Is there any other way to delete these services??
I use oreon-1.3-RC1 can it be a bug in the system or what??

I restarted the nagios many times; from the web interface & from the command line... :(
I opened the oreon web interface from my fedora 5 browser(firefox v 1.5.0.6) & from my PC (windows xp/ internet explorer v6) & both of them the same..
the service is deleted, i cant see it in the configuration bar only from the monitoring bar!!!!...

Hi,
I just want to confirm one thing…
After reloading & exporting I can’t see these services in the Oreon web interface (monitoring tab) but they are still there in the file:
/usr/local/nagios/etc/services.cfg
I think if my Nagios & Oreon work fine then any changes happed in the web interface should take effect in the /usr/local/nagios/etc files???... Is this true?? :?
How can I fix this??...
Thanks in advance…

Hi abc,
make sure you have configured correctly in Oreon (Configuration tab, Nagios menu, Nagios CFG) so Object Configuration Directory is pointed to /usr/local/nagios/etc/.
When you make an export (Move - Not Moove, please ;P - Export Files) and reload/restart of Nagios, the new Oreon generated files must be exported to Nagios etc dir so Nagios could read the new configuration files.
Hope it helps!
