PHP Fatal error: Smarty error

Hi
I installed Nagios 3.0a5 with Oreon 1.4. I was able to login into oreon sucessfully before applying patches for oreon 1.4 available on http://wiki.oreon-project.org/index.php/List_of_patch_for_oreon-1.4.

I am getting below mentioned error message

[client 172.49.1.80] PHP Fatal error: Smarty error: unable to write to $compile_dir '/usr/local/oreon/GPL_LIB/SmartyCache/compile'. Be sure $compile_dir is writable by the web server user. in /usr/local/oreon/GPL_LIB/Smarty/libs/Smarty.class.php on line 1095, referer: http://172.40.1.2/oreon/

Can some one help me in resolving this.

HI,

I think there was a problem with the patches.
Smarty compilation fails, and you just have to reinstall the web interface :/

However I'm not sure that Nagios 3.x is supported by Oreon 1.4.

If someone has a better better idea ... :confused:
