Hi all,
I have just installed centreon but it seems not to work properly. It doesn't recognize things like contact groups, or services. I thougth that it could be due to it is not properly patched. I have installed cetreon-1.4.2.3... when i started installing centreon-patches-1.4.1 I get messages telling me:
Reversed (or previously applied) patch detected! Assume -R?

I suppose in that version this patch would be applied, so what i wanted to know what version of patches should i start installing...
and another question.. I don't understand what to do if patch command rejects a file and generates a .rej file. Can anyone tell me where i can find a wider explanation of what to do if i am in that situation?

thank you very much, and forgive for my non fluent english

best regards

Pili

As the name and release date of theses patches make it obvious, 1.4 patches are not intended to be used with 1.4.2 release, there's no patching required when updating to 1.4.2.3.

thank you very much arti...
I am a student and i am newbie in linux, nagios, centreon and almost you can imagine...
I installed centreon-1.4.2.3 directly, i haven't installed any previous version. When i was trying to introduce some hosts and some services i found centreon returns me error and warnings. it seems me not to recognice any contact group, so i thougth i needed to install patches...
a new question: is there a place to find a tutorial describing how to introduce host and services? Centreon seems a frontend very easy to configure, but i don't manage it working properly.. i am sure i am doing something wrong, but i don't know what!!
thank you again, and forgive me if i am asking nonsenses...
Best wishes
