Il est possible d'utiliser d'autres serveurs irc, tel freenode par exemple.
Il y a des channels du style Nagios, OpenNMS, Cacti, et j'en passe, donc assez implanté niveau réseau et monitoring.

Je pense que cela aiderait la comunauté Centreon d'avoir de nouveau une présence dans le monde IRC.

I used to speak french well but it has since become quite unusable.

I am now logged into the new centreon channel. I just tried to log in to the old server mentioned in this thread but it seems to be down.

Since someone suggested that we go to another irc server I just went to the centreon channel on freenode.net network and found that it was empty.

You can login by going to:

irc://irc.freenode.net/

and joining Channel

For those of you who have problems using IRC due to proxy's or other blocking techniques I suggest that using proxy bypass software and chatzilla (an irc plugin for firefox) is an easy way to get around those limitations.

If you have Chatzilla installed and running click on this link to join the channel automatically. (Be sure to set your user info in the preferences first.)

Très bonne chose le retour du chan irc. Le wiki a été mis à jour pour l'occasion.

Je veux faire une section dans le wiki sous support.

If the project had people from all time zones logged in the channel it would probably help the reputation of the project. I would take care of the IRC section of the wiki if I could get access.

It might also help to create a sticky in the fourms detailing how to connect to the channel. I could improve my how to if wanted.

I added a section under the support section in the wiki. The link will take you straight to the irc channel on free node if you have a modern irc client installed on your computer.
