Hi,

I installed nagios 2.10 and Oreon 1.4 on a ubuntu 7.10 system.
Nagios installation is complete and running.
I used http://www.ubuntugeek.com/nagios-network-monitoring-system-setup-in-ubuntu.html for nagios setup and http://wiki.centreon.com/index.php/InstallOreon1.4-DebianEtch
for centreon/oreon setup.

I think, there are problems with the integration, as I have some centreon paths, while the manual uses nagios or nagios2 paths.

When loggin into the webfrontend I get this error:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare getmyservicegroupname() (previously declared in /usr/local/centreon/www/include/common/common-Func.php:375) in /usr/local/centreon/www/include/common/common-Func.php on line 437

Anybody knows this problem, or does anyone know a manual for installing oreon on ubuntu 7.10?

Btw: Is there a difference between Oreon and Centreon?
/EDIT: Okay, Centreon is the successor of Oreon, right? So, which changes where made in the pathnames?

Thx for your help!

Thx for your hint ...
Maybe I'll check that out later.
Currently, I installed Nagios 3, made my configs manually and I am really pleased with that so far :-)
