Centreon-2b for live servers?

Hello,

I am wanting to switch to Centreon-2b from Cent-1.4 and redo my configuration to better fit our needs. Should I hold off on the upgrade until a stable release or based on your experiance is the most recent beta revision (b5) stable enough?

Most importantly will I be able to upgrade to higher revisions with the current beta? as in, will the new configuration stay intact? (this is what is going to decide if I will move to it now vs later)

you should have read the forums...

no you can't upgrade from beta at this time, you will have to do a full re-install. you might be able to import the config but many people have run into problems.

and the software is stable, but not 100% working for most of the people, so I stronlgy suggest to wait before putting it on a live server.

best try the beta in a safe environment first.
