Hi,

I installed Centreon 2 RC5 on my Opensuse 10.3 together with Nagios 3 and the NDO stuff following the steps proposed in Wiki. After I was able to login to centreon, I could not configure anything at all. No matter which link I follow, I'll always just get the menu structures, but not real content.

The only pages that contain any content are Sessions, Server Status, Database and about in the Administration menu.
I did not install centreon to the default location, except the /etc/centreon (which is symlinked).
Centreon recognizes nagios, I guess since I've just set it up with localhost and a few (8) services that are also shown in the above image.

Any hints what I'm doing wrong?

tia,

Sven

Check the rights of your nagios cfg folders.
Follow the wikis from centreon: http://en.doc.centreon.com/Setup

I did so, additionally I've set the rights of nagios config folder to 777 just to be sure that it's working. Shouldn't I be able to set up Access Groups? I mean, I can't see anything on any page except the few I mentioned on in my last post.

Is there some debugging mode to switch centreon to, maybe this would give me some hint?

regards,

Sven

I found the problem. My PEAR installation was somehow messed up and therefore nothing worked. The Webfrontend told that everything was fine ... This (http://forum.centreon.com/showpost.php?p=40804) post should be linked in the wiki, because people that are not so familiar with php/perl definitaly need that hint if they are behind a proxy.
