I can`t find any documentation in English for Centreon, thats why ask there:
Describe someone what is "Escalations" and "Dependencies". Thanks

Escalation is when a problem is not resolved in a time, you send the alert to someone else.
Dependencies : when a service is down, you do not whant to know all dependent services are down too, you just whant the source problem. For example: a web server use a data base server. If the data base is down, you know that the web is not ok. So why receive a notification that the web is down? Is just spam. So you say to Nagios: if the database is down, do not send me web alert.
