      Hello,

I have the same problem. May be a way to force us to switch to plugins ?

        Hello,

You can configure "plugin pack" and ADD "base-generic" before setup a new host.

                Hello,

                In 2.8.1 version

You can activate plugin pack :

Administration --> Extensions --> Plugin packs --> setup

You've a list of free plugin with :

                base-generic
                Linux SNMP
                Windows SNMP
                Etc...

You can add your first plugin "base-generic", click "+" and the generic template is install . You can use the generic template for your fisrt check.

                See N°1

In 2.8.2 Version is the same

You can update module Centreon Module plugin pack :

                Administration --> Extensions --> Modules
                See N°2

After you can setup plugin pack :

Configuration --> Plugin Pack --> setup

                See N°3

but in Plugin Pack / Setup "No plugin pack found":

I installed centreon again this time using .iso not .ovf and after enabling Plugin Pack Manager plugin pack icons appeared.

                      Howdy!
I too am using the ova and so far it has been a royal pain in the rear. Like the rest of the folks on here i've done just about everything i can think of short of doing what SlyT did and installing from an iso versus using the OVA, from downloading the plugins individually, to a yum reinstall of centreon and the pp manager. Like what SlyT said i'm not seeing anything within the Plugin Packs Manager, which from what i gather is what is needed to even use the base template. i've done the update command and upgrade commands. Nada. Any thoughts? i reached out to centreon a while back but they're saying no templates come with the ova, you'll have to use the pp manager, which isn't working.

                      Thoughts?
                      Thanks in advance.

                        Hi,

With Centreon 3.4, configuration is from Plugin Pack available from Plugin Pack Manager module.

But your Centreon platform must be connected to Internet.

Yo ucan configure proxy settings in "Administration > Options > Centreon UI" menu.

                        Regards,

                          Hi,
I have the same problem: I've enabled Plugin Packs module and even update the version, but when I go to Plugin pack --> setup it returns 'No plugin packs found', Is it necessary to have a suscription to access to the plugins? I have read that CES 3.4 includes 6 native Plugin Packs, but I can't find them, have I to subscribe to access them?. My server has internet connection, any idea? Thanks in advance

What if your system doesn't have access to the Internet? I'm trying to configure a Centreon server to monitor infrastructure in a secure development environment, that doesn't have access to the outside world.
