  • Can Centreon manage both ndo and centreon brokers at the same time ?

    Hi,
I have not found a clear answer so I'm asking you here :
Can Centreon manage poller using different brokers (ndo and centreon broker) at the same time ?
Eg : Centreon gathering results from both this poller :
poller1 using ndo as a broker
    poller2 using centreon-broker.

If yes, do I need two different databases (one for ndo, one for centreon breoker) ?

    Thanks

    Hi,

You can't use different broker for your pollers because Centreon can access only to one database in the same time.

    Please choose NDOutils or Centreon-Broker.

      Ok.
If centreon-broker database and ndo database are different, what are the main differences ?

The Centreon-Broker database is more efficient than NDOutils database.

Time to insert data from engine (Nagios or Centreon-Engine) is more fast.
Time to extract data to display them in Centreon Moniroring pages is more fast
