It seems that the latest update released today fixes the issue. Thanks for a quick solution.

  • No recovery notifications after update to Centreon 2.6.0

    Hello,

I've noticed this on two separate installations. After updating Centreon (CES 3.1) to the latest version (2.6.0) via "yum update" recently, recovery notifications (for status ok) are no longer generated. Problem notifications (for status warning or critical) work as usual. There has been no configuration change - just the update, and the configuration should (and did) generate recovery notifications.

Here's an extract from my logs:

This is ok - problem alert followed by a notification:
[1431026592] [18117] SERVICE ALERT: Centreon-Server;ntpd;CRITICAL;HARD;3;No process matching ntpd found : CRITICAL
[1431026592] [18117] SERVICE NOTIFICATION: The_Administrator;Centreon-Server;ntpd;CRITICAL;service-notify-by-email;No process matching ntpd found : CRITICAL

When the service recovers, there is no SERVICE NOTIFICATION following the SERVICE ALERT:
    [1431026617] [18117] SERVICE ALERT: Centreon-Server;ntpd;OK;HARD;3;1 process matching ntpd (> 0), Mem : 2.0Mb OK
    ...

Does anyone have any ideas as to what's gone wrong or what has changed?
    Thanks for any help.
Working...
