Warning: PHP Pear not found /usr/bin/pear/PEAR.php

Hi Guys,

Finally i am trying to manage the webinterface and i am running oreon installation setup using web GUI when it comes to Verifying Configuration step i am having the following error

PEAR Warning: PHP Pear not found /usr/bin/pear/PEAR.php

So i can not move forward with the oreon setup.

I am using debian sarge and i have installed php4-pear package and my pear is located at /usr/bin/pear

and i think we need pear db module requires package `DB' >= 1.7.0

How do i check which pear DB module is installed in my machine.

You can change the PEAR path in a file called installoreonconf.php (I guess) created during shell installation lauching (when you submit this path for PEAR).

my pear path is correct that is located at /usr/bin/pear but still i am having same problem

you need to change

to

$pear_path = "/usr/share/pear/";

in your www/install/setup.php

This worked for me having the error

"PEAR Warning: PHP Pear not found /usr/share/php/PEAR.php"

I changed my

$pear_path = $conf_installoreon['pear_dir'];

to
Code:
$pear_path = "/usr/share/php/";

in your /usr/local/oreon/www/install/setup.php
