I stopped using centreon almost a year ago however, with the release of version 2.0, I plan on revisiting this module and fixing some of the bugs i've left.

I contacted julio and hope to get a dedicated from for the module.

        Thanks for everyone's great feedback.

                  Language and updates issue

                  Hi,

I have Centreon 2.0-RC7 installed and just installed the Gmap tool but I am having some issue with the following.

The language is not showing as it should eg m_gmap and the same on all menus
Also the update to the locations is not working either.

when I update the records it is not saving any chnages to the database, I have manualy addresses to check this is working.

                  Can you help.

Also is there another planed release

                  Peter

                        Updated gmap module

I was finally able to setup centreon 2.0 and determine why my gmap module no longer works. It seems they have changed the way language support is handeled in version 2.0. They've also changed the main script from oreon.php to main.php. Both of these chagnes were enough to break my module.

The good news is i've attached (what i hope) is a version of the gmap module that is compatible with centreon 2.0. As always feedback is appreciated.

As a side note, after i ensure all original functionality is working, i'll take requests for modifications and improvements.

                        -Justin

Alright I am uber impressed! Now per the modifications/improvements/wish list. So in my environment we have semi-moble units meaning that they move from one location to another, setup for about a month then head to the next. I can get dynamic GPS information from them but it would be based by host rather than hostgroup. Thus can I work with you to modify the system to go by host vs hostgroup for starters then I'll mess with importing the gps coordinates dynamically and provide that info back.
