the following text is from this thread http://forum.oreon-project.org/archi...hp/t-3446.html and apparently solved the problem:

Edit /oreon_path/www/include/configuration/configCGI/formCGI.ihtml

look for:

{if $nagios == 1}
<tr class="list_one"><td class="FormRowField">{$form.nagios_check_command.label}</td><td class="FormRowValue">{$form.nagios_check_command.html}</td></tr>
{/if}

and replace the 3 lines by this one only:

<tr class="list_one"><td class="FormRowField">{$form.nagios_check_command.label}</td><td class="FormRowValue">{$form.nagios_check_command.html}</td></tr>



Then edit: /oreon_path/www/include/configuration/configCGI/formCGI.php

look for:

if ($oreon->user->get_version() == 1)

an delete this line.

restart apache /etc/init.d/apachexxx restart (adapt to your distro)

Reloading nagios2 monitoring daemon configuration files: nagios2/etc/init.d/nagios2: line 60: /var/cache/nagios2/: is a directory

but I do not understand French, so I do not know if this thread has solved the problem. Somebody could help me?

pb config nagios-centreon

bonjour,

j'ai reinstallé Etch4.0 puis nagios/centreon ( avec la procedure du site wiki);
et la tout est OK;
Je pense que dans la procédure , il manque l'article concernant le password d'accès à Nagios;

Je vais reinstaller , sur l'autre machine qui me pose pb, on verra bien, car je ne comprends pas ce qui se passe sur celle-ci !!!!!

Ok alors la honnetement je ne vois pas ton pb ...
On va faire un truc ...

killall nagios2
rm /var/run/nagios2.pid
mv /var/log/nagios2/nagios.log /var/log/nagios2/nagios.sav
sur tty2 : tail -f /var/log/syslog
sur tty3 : tail -f /var/log/messages
sur tty4 : tail -f /var/log/nagios2/nagios.log

/etc/init.d/nagios2 start

et donne moi stp les lignes en rapport avec nagios car la honnetement le nagios.log est correct alors defois un cron qui tourne mal ... pour cela il faut voir syslog et messages sinon apres cela et bien je ne puis plus rien pour toi.

La je seche un peu je t'avouearais !
Alors deja nagios2 a l'air de tourner, malgré l'erreur il est lance et fais bien les test demander (enfin je pense vu les check_ping).
Ensuite heu centreon je crois que tu as une case quand tu modifie les fichier de comf y'a marquer exporter et aussi redemarrer ou recharger. (restart, reload).
Donc si tu lui donne une de ses cases, oui il fais en somme un /etc/init.d/nagios2 reload ou restart.

Ensuite stp pourrais tu me coller un bloc de ligne centrer sur la 60 eme du fichier nagios.cfg stp.

lorsque que je fais /etc/init.d/nagios2 stop
ces 2 fichiers disparaissent..
par contre lorsque Nagios est demarré ils reviennent mais je ne peux changer les droits de statut.dat.

et j'ai toujours la meme erreur

regarde aussi tres en detail au noiveau de ton nagios2.pid, car le probleme apparement vient de la.
Regarde les perimissions, regarde s'il tourne(ps aux), s'il tourne arretre le proprement, puis regarde ce qu'il en est de son fichier .pid, si tu est sur qu'il ne tourne pas renome ton .pid, et relance le avec la commande restart, si restart te jete essaye alors start.
mais penche toi de se coté je pense.

Salut alors je pense deja regarde du coté de

/var/cache/nagios2/status.dat

ensuite quand tu fais un

/etc/init.d/nagios2 start

fais un

ps aux | grep nagios2
si cela ne renvoie rien regarde bien la liste voir si nagios2 tourne, car peut etre que mon grep n'est pas juste adapte un peu !

ensuite ce que tu peux essayer c'est de regarder au niveau du nagios2.pid
si nagios2 tourne tu le kill

killall nagios2
ou kill -9 PID

ensuite

mv nagios2.pid nagios2.pid.sav
/etc/init.d/nagios2 start

Mais regarde quand meme bien les permissions au niveau du status.dat s'il n'existe pas fais

touch status.dat
chown nagios:nagios status.dat
chmod 775  status.dat

Voila essayons deja cela ...
