    Code:
Error : interface is not ready - status : down
Any idea why I would get this error? (interface is up, by the way :-) )

Are you sure that you're querying the proper interface index ?

No, I'm not. I can see that now. Do you have a good way to figure out that index? For Cisco 4507 you can use the -i "EthernetGigabit1/1" -n option to have it figure it out for you, but Cisco 6509 doesn't do things by interface, it does it by ports. Any idea how to determine the index for a given port?

The answer is to do an snmpwalk on ifName:

        snmpwalk hostname -c public -v 1 ifName

This will give you the interface index number to use for a specific port/vlan.

check_centreon_snmp_traffic is now able to report if your interface is up or not.

          You doesn't like it ?

use check_centreon_snmp_traffic with option -s(--show). It gives interface index, name and type and status.
