    Another tip solved ...

    - Graphs in the main page are not working.
    Error:
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /usr/local/oreon/www/include/home/pie_chart_host.php on line 54
Fatal error: Call to undefined function ImageTTFBBox() in /usr/local/lib/php/Image/Canvas/GD.php on line 1298
I recompiled PHP (doing make clean before, very important) with following options:

    ./configure --with-mysql --with-openssl --with-gd --with-freetype --with-freetype-dir=/usr/include/freetype2/freetype --with-xpm-dir=/usr/X11R6 --with-jpeg-dir --with-png-dir --with-zlib-dir --with-ttf --enable-gd-native-ttf --with-apxs=/usr/sbin/apxs

    Now images are displayed great!

Thanks for your patience, I hope this helps someone else ...

 it will duplicate your configuration object in 2 over objects...

Ohh ok on which linux distribution ?
    OpenSuSE 10.0

ho ok, can you add it on the bugstracker ? Thanks
    Sure, tomorrow would do it.

    I don't understand... What ?
Image attached for Options menu ... ;P

Which DB ??nagios with mysql support ? oreon need nagios-text
What I mean is when I export DB to files, and restart Oreon, is continues to use Nagios configuration files, no the files generated from the Oreon database ... I don't understand that ...
    Attached Files

But I have some questions/problems with this new release. I think they're mostly concept problems, but I'm a little lost right now

    Well, let's do a summary:

    - Installation quite clear and easy. No major problems, other than install a bunch of pear libraries to get Oreon up and running.
    Only this remarcable event:

    Configure Apache server
    -----------------------
    Creating /usr/local/oreon OK
./install.sh: line 278: /etc/httpd/conf.d/oreon.conf: No such file or directory
./install.sh: line 279: /etc/httpd/conf.d/oreon.conf: No such file or directory
./install.sh: line 280: /etc/httpd/conf.d/oreon.conf: No such file or directory
./install.sh: line 281: /etc/httpd/conf.d/oreon.conf: No such file or directory
./install.sh: line 282: /etc/httpd/conf.d/oreon.conf: No such file or directory
./install.sh: line 283: /etc/httpd/conf.d/oreon.conf: No such file or directory
./install.sh: line 284: /etc/httpd/conf.d/oreon.conf: No such file or directory
./install.sh: line 285: /etc/httpd/conf.d/oreon.conf: No such file or directory
./install.sh: line 286: /etc/httpd/conf.d/oreon.conf: No such file or directory
./install.sh: line 287: /etc/httpd/conf.d/oreon.conf: No such file or directory
./install.sh: line 288: /etc/httpd/conf.d/oreon.conf: No such file or directory
./install.sh: line 289: /etc/httpd/conf.d/oreon.conf: No such file or directory
./install.sh: line 290: /etc/httpd/conf.d/oreon.conf: No such file or directory
./install.sh: line 291: /etc/httpd/conf.d/oreon.conf: No such file or directory
    Create '/etc/httpd/conf.d/oreon.conf' OK

File oreon.conf not created at all, not in that path - it does not exist, mine is /etc/httpd/conf/, nor in any other path. Maybe it could be interesting that installation makes a question about httpd.conf path to create that file.

    - Graphs in the main page are not working.
    Error:
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /usr/local/oreon/www/include/home/pie_chart_host.php on line 54
Fatal error: Call to undefined function ImageTTFBBox() in /usr/local/lib/php/Image/Canvas/GD.php on line 1298
Ohh ok on which linux distribution ?

    - I don't know what is "Oreon Views/Localisation" about, but sounds quite interesting. Any advice to know something else about this topic?
It's for an other java status map module not available in oreon for the moment... We forgotte to disable it.

    - I don't know what is ID Cards about, well, I think I could understand something about it in French Forum, but I think it's incomplete, and it would be better in beta2, is that true? Any info on that would be great.
Yes it's true. We are working on it.

    - In configuration tab, to import configuration files from Nagios 2.x, cgi.cfg could no be imported, and sound strange. I created from Oreon frontend. nagios.cfg was not imported correctly (some fields like "Inter-Check Sleep Time" or "Service Repear Frequency" were imported with strange values that didn't permit nagios to restart from Oreon). I had to change them.
ho ok, can you add it on the bugstracker ? Thanks

    - When you edit any Host or any Service, if any of the fields has blank spaces between names, they're converted to underscores. For example, if I edit a Host, that his Description is "Wireless Router", and save the changes, Description is immediately converted to "Wireless_Router". Anybody else suffering this? I don't think this is a good thing at all.
ha ok... we will change it

    - What are the menu Options [1,2,3,4,5,10] in Configuration tab when you're listing items (Services, Hosts ...) for? I don't understand it.
    I don't understand... What ?

    - What's the meaning or difference of selecting List or Form when you are editing some item?
It permit to choise the next page : the same form or configuration objects list...

    - Monitoring is not getting info about Hosts & Services from Database, is getting info from Nagios cfg files under /usr/local/nagios/etc. So is not monitoring the changes i've done to DB, is monitoring the unaltered original files from Nagios. ?
Which DB ??nagios with mysql support ? oreon need nagios-text

Thanks in advance, and keep up the good work.

P.S.: I'm working hard in the translation to Spanish and Catalan of the new language files for 1.3 release. Hope to end this week. Who do I send the new language files?

coool ! send it to me  [email protected]
