    Give errors precisely and look in your apache error logfile unless we can't help you.

      Every time when I try to restart Nagios I got the message:
      # /etc/init.d/nagios restart
      Configuration file /etc/nagios/nagios.cfg not found. Exiting.

      In oreon configuration I put my Nagios configuration file is /usr/local/etc/nagios.cfg, also all Nagios configuration are there (in /usr/local/etc/).

      So I have to change the /etc/init.d/nagios file in:
      prefix=/usr/share/nagios
      exec_prefix=/var/lib/nagios
      NagiosBin=/usr/sbin/nagios
      NagiosCfgFile=/etc/nagios/nagios.cfg
      NagiosStatusFile=/var/log/nagios/status.dat
      NagiosTempFile=/var/log/nagios/nagios.tmp
      NagiosRetentionFile=/var/log/nagios/retention.dat
      NagiosCommandFile=/var/log/nagios/rw/nagios.cmd
      NagiosVarDir=/var/log/nagios
      NagiosRunFile=/var/run/nagios.pid
      NagiosLockDir=/var/lock/subsys
      NagiosLockFile=nagios
      NagiosCGIDir=${exec_prefix}/sbin
      NagiosUser=nagios
      NagiosGroup=nagios

      To point to the /usr/local/nagios/etc files or I can create a hard link between /usr/local/nagios/nagios.cfg & /etc/nagios/nagios.cfg??!!

        It seems that you install a nagios package where there is some different folder than a typical installation.

        The best you should do is change cfg directory in oreon if it is possible (i'm in week end and don't have any oreon to verify that it is possible)
