During the DB upgrade i get this error message>

    Component Status
    Database ’oreon’ : Upgrade CRITICAL

    Duplicate column name 'command_command_id_arg2'

When i want to logon to Oreon again i always get back to the DB upgrade. What do i need to do to get back to my oreon installation.

i did the upgrade according to the instructions. But does the upgrade procedure simply show me any error messages or does it stop when an error occurs? I renamed the install folder, the logon works again.

So i am not sure if the upgrade finished except for this error. How can i check if all is as it should be?

Would it be possible to show a Oreon version number if the upgrade went well, perhaps right at the Oreon Logo or the Help Logout Buttons.

After the upgrade i have now under Oreon -> Configuration the following menu entries:

        Hosts | Services | Users | Commands | Commands | Escalations | Dependencies | Templates | Nagios

and in both Commands menue i have:

        Main Menu

        Check Commands
        Check Commands
        Notification Commands
        Notification Commands
        Various Commands
        Various Commands
        Plugins
        Plugins

How can i delete this double entries?

In the topology table, find the rows with same "topology_page" field, and delete one of them.

Hello ! I found the following tables and index with "topology":

            lca_define_topology_relation
            topology
            topology_JS
            topology_index
            topology_page
            topology_page_2

but inside the topology table i can not find any double entries. Is it perhaps the index "topology_page_2" that i have to delete?

The following tables doesn't exist :

              topology_index
              topology_page
              topology_page_2

In the topology page, you certainly have multiple rows for topology_page = :

              608
              60801
              60802
              60803
              60804

              Delete one of each.

                Merci !

It took me a bit to find the entries in the table structure since i am not a mysql master. But now i think that it looks good again.

I still have this double "Commands" entries under -> configuration
                the menue looks like this:

                Hosts | Services | Users | Commands | Commands | Escalations | Dependencies | Templates | Nagios

How can i delete on of the Commands entries? Can you help me there too?

i've double entries too. Can you help one more time to delete them. I think this are the last ones... :-)

Do you have an explanation as to why this happend during the upgrade?

                      upgrade, multiple entry

maybe you had executed the same sql script few times.. I had problem with those sql script.. I executed the sql 5 times before I saw a successfull update.. and now I have 5 entry like yours for each menu!

You can see what's the topology_page on the link in the menu..
                      http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/oreon/oreon.p...0101&o=general
if you have multiple entry for this menu the id will be 5010101

                      then check 5010101 5010102 5010103 5010104 5010105 5010106 5010107

for people who don't know mysql to find a corresponding id:
                      select * from topology WHERE topology_page = 5010101;
juste check the topology_id number you'll need it to delete the row..

                      and to delete a row:
                      delete from topology where topology_id = 191;

Then reload and everything will be ok! ( for those row )

We store the release number in DB now, we will make a better script to upgrade DB, in order to not insert several times the same datas...
