  • Importing Existing Nagios Configuration

    Hi all,

    I have just installed oreon everything seems to be working ok;

    I was wanting to know is it possible to import all of the existing data from the nagios cfg files as I have a lot of hosts and services in sub-folders / separate config files or am i going to have to input it all manually

      Good afternoon,

      You can import all your cfg, no difference in file name, we made a big stream with all data.

      The only thing to do is to upload first check_commands, then misccommands, because it's the only way to make difference between them..

      After make an archive with all files on the same tree level (no subdir..).

      Be sure to have a blank line (or a not important line) on each file begin (A PHP func which truncate it and we don't nknow why..)

      We don't manage regexp in cfg definitions and we don't upload escalations yet.
