Step 10 oreon.conf.php (Critical: Not Writeable)

When i get to step 10 in the setup i get this error message:

Writable Oreon Configuration File (oreon.conf.php)
Critical: Not Writeable

root:root (0)
Should be : (775)

Generate configuration file OK

Using Debian 2.6.16-2-486 with Apache 2.0.54, PHP 4.3.10-16 and
Mysql 5.0.30.

The file got
-rwxrwxr-x 1 www-data www-data 984 2006-12-18 14:38 oreon.conf.php

And no error messages in apache log either. what could be wrong ?

The problem was something as stupid as using Opera web browser, when i tried running the setup.php in iexplorer 6 it worked
