fatal error when opening oreon page

Hi All,

I am trying to install Oreon, I have installed it to the very end but i think i missed out the database option (where i think you put in "oreon") now i have finished the web setup and if i go to my web page i get the following error.

Fatal error: Call to undefined method DB_Error::fetchInto() in /usr/local/oreon/www/index.php on line 204

if i go into this file i cannot see what it is talking about.

Any ideas ??

Hi,

check if the infos infos in

cat /usr/local/oreon/www/oreon.conf.php | grep \$conf

fetch to your configuration.

Hi mate,

I checked the file and it had no config in it, so I added some details

$conf_oreon['host'] = "localhost";
$conf_oreon['user'] = "oreon";
$conf_oreon['password'] = "";
$conf_oreon['db'] = "oreondb";
$conf_oreon['ods'] = "OreonDataStorage";

It now looks like the above, now when i connect i get
DB Error: insufficient permissions

As i have never messed with Linux before im not sure which user or account or file does not have the permissions

Ok cool,

it just looks like the mysql user : "oreon" doesn't have the rights to access this database.

lets just create a new user the correct rights :

#]mysql -uroot -p
Enter password:
Welcome to the MySQL monitor.  Commands end with ; or \g.
Your MySQL connection id is 177350 to server version: 5.0.27-standard

Type 'help;' or '\h' for help. Type '\c' to clear the buffer.

mysql> GRANT ALL ON OreonDB.* TO 'oreonUser'@'localhost' identified by 'oreon!';

now just complete oreon conf file with the matching infos, here it's :

$conf_oreon['host'] = "localhost";
$conf_oreon['user'] = "oreonUser";
$conf_oreon['password'] = "oreon!";
$conf_oreon['db'] = "oreonDB";
$conf_oreon['ods'] = "OreonDataStorage";

This should work now

bien que mon fichier /usr/local/oreon/www/oreon.conf.php contienne :
