  • CHECK_GRAPH_TRAFFIC PLUGIN not GRAPHING but COLLECTING DATA

I have installed the check_graph_traffic and I am passing the following options !1!80!95!public!1!1004 and I am getting a response from the plugin with traffic data, but the graph is not displaying. Any ideas?

    Hello,

    my check_command :
    $USER1$/check_graph_traffic.pl -H $HOSTADDRESS$ -i $ARG1$ -w $ARG2$ -c $ARG3$ -C $ARG4$ -v $ARG5$ -g -S $ARG6$
    !1!80!95!public!1!1004
if 1004 is for $ARG6$, remove it.
$ARG6$ is remplace by Oreon at file generation
    -> !1!80!95!public!1

you can also check right on '/usr/local/oreon/rrd', and if rrdtool is installed

      Updates to CHECK_GRAPH_TRAFFIC

      GATE-GDI PING
      OK 27/05/05 11:49:49 9 h, 45 m, 48 s 1/5 GPING OK - 64 bytes from 10.10.10.254: icmp_seq=0 ttl=62 time=23.2 ms
      TRAFFIC
      OK 27/05/05 11:49:07 12 h, 40 m, 9 s 1/5 Traffic: 138.88 B/s (0.0%) in, 79.74 B/s (0.0%) out - Total RX Bytes: 25.61 MB, Total TX Bytes: 94.68 MB

RRDTOOL is installed under /usr/sbin and my other Host PING graphs are working fine. The problem is when I click on the TRAFFIC graph I get a black screen with the Headers on the left hand side. I am also now getting the following error:

      TRAFFIC
      CRITICAL 27/05/05 11:48:17 12 h, 45 m, 21 s 5/5 (Return code of 13 is out of bounds)

if you run 'check_graph_traffic.pl' in command line under 'nagios' user, there is a output error.

Do you have some rrd file in '/usr/local/oreon/rrd' ?
        ls -al /usr/local/oreon/rrd/
That is your check_command syntax for 'check_graph_traffic'
