  • Upgrading from 1.4 to 1.4.1

    Hi,

    I was trying to implement Oreon on top of our nagios+perfparse instalation and didn't have much luck. Now i would like to try it again with the new Centreon 1.4.1. How should i update from Oreon to Centreon?, is there any uninstall script for Centreon so i can try a fresh installation?. I've seen that Oreon touchs files here and there....

    Hi if you want to uninstall Oreon 1.4:

    * rm /yourOreonPath/Oreon (/opt/oreon) (prefere mv on oreon.old )
    * rm /etc/cron.d/oreon
    * edit and delete Oreon line in /etc/sudoers
    * dump and remove oreon and ods database
    * change right on nagios etc directory (/etc/nagios) (check on initial install)
    * rm /etc/apache/conf.d/oreon (or other)
    * rm /etc/oreon.conf
    and ... i think that all

    So, you must use install script (use /etc/oreon.conf) to upgrade on centreon1.4.1. It's work fine

    Good luck
    Centreon 2.x
