  • centreon & perfparse

    hi,
I come from an older version off oreon. I installed centreon 1.4.1 and nagios 2.10 and I see there is no way to make centreon use de perfparse database. Does centreon use perfparse, & How?
    Thanks

I think newer versions of Centreon doesn't use perfparse as mentionned on this page :

    http://wiki.oreon-project.org/index....reon-1.4.1_%3F

In this new release, we don't manage anymore graphs plugins storage, so your check_graph_* plugins will not work anymore (Problem with -S arg will occur...)
    ( but i'm not very sure )

Correct, Centreon version 1.4.1 does not require Perfparse for Centreon' Views graphs.

I think perfparse can still be used but in this case not ODS.

I think it's one or other not both together.

            why?
            why does oreon use rrd?
I have to make a desition but I do not find the arguments.

ODS = simplicity and best Centreon integration

perfparse and ods are buggly together but there is nothing else.
