      au pire va dans la base oreon, la table contact et change le path de l'admin

      pour exemple oreon = 21496cd6c19f4bf6dcfd3ae2ec5f397e en crypté. change juste le pass.

        English style :wink: :

        Go in oreon db -> browse 'contact' table and update your passwd account with a md5 password.
        For example : 21496cd6c19f4bf6dcfd3ae2ec5f397e = 'oreon'

              In the file ( /usr/local/oreon/www/include/configuration/configObject/contact/DB-Func.php )

              I found the lines:
              isset($ret["contact_passwd"]) && $ret["contact_passwd"] != NULL ? $rq .= "'".md5($ret["contact_passwd"])."', ": $rq .= "NULL, ";

              if (isset($ret["contact_oreon"]["contact_oreon"]) && $ret["contact_oreon"]["contact_oreon"] && isset($ret["contact_passwd"]) && $ret["contact_passwd"])
              $rq .= "contact_passwd = '".md5($ret["contact_passwd"])."', ";

              Do you mean put the new password here??!! .... & where exactly we have to put it??!!....

                I am sorry I knew that I asked too many question about this but unfortunately I did not work with Mysql nor phpmyadmin before… ops:

                I used to work in Solaris 8 & my boss asked me to install Nagios & Oreon on fedora core 5 machine in order to monitor the efficiency of our network routers….

                  The password is in database and you must reset it in the database.
                  The database is mysql (you should easily find documentation on it)
                  I suggest you phpmyadmin because you seem to understand nothing about mysql and it is a easy GUI frontend for mysql.

                  Unless drop database oreon, rename the strange folder in folder www in "install" and redo the install of oreon.

                    You might have a friend who could help you in update a row in MySQL, not so hard...

                      I installed phpmyadmin-2.8.1 but every time when I tried to browse its web interface (http://servername/phpmyadmin/) I got the message:
                      The page can not be found

                      When I tried to restart the http service I got:
                      [ro[email protected] ~]# /etc/init.d/httpd restart
                      Stopping httpd: [ OK ]
                      Starting httpd: [Wed Jun 28 14:04:24 2006] [warn] The ScriptAlias directive in /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf at line 575 will probably never match because it overlaps an earlier Alias.
                      [ OK ]

                      When I tried to see the file /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf I found the error in line:
                      ScriptAlias /nagios/cgi-bin "/usr/local/nagios/sbin"

                      Which I added when installing Nagios… please note that this error came after I installed the phpmyadmin only; before I used to restart the httpd without any errors!!..

                      Any one knows what may be the problem & how can I solve it??!!...

                      I installed the phpmyadmin exactly as mentioned in the next link without any errors:
                      http://stanton-finley.net/fedora_cor...tml#phpMyAdmin

                        Apache says that you define in multiple place some aliases for nagios therefore it overlaps themselves.
