  • Upgrade CES

    Hi,

I searched for a bit now, but haven't found anything suitable so I'm coming here.
What's the easiest way to upgrade CES 3.3 to 3.4? Is there a guide somewhere that tells me the steps I have to take and about what I have to be careful?

    Thanks for any answer
    Joe

I have a few other questions now: Do I have to prepare anything before I hit enter on the yum update? Do I need to do any changes on the database, engine, broker or any other configuration? Do I have to run some kind of script after the update?
The reason I'm asking is, that there are a few oddities that I can't seem to resolve or find anything online about. For example under "Administration" -> "Server Status" it says that my tables are not partitioned. I know what partitioning is, but how should they be partitioned and why isn't Centreon doing it by itself? But there are other issues too.

Only take a backup / snapshot then try to yum update.

CES offers comprehensive upgrade services to assist organizations in upgrading their Oracle database environment to the latest version of Oracle. With periodic new releases, Oracle discontinues support of older versions myprepaidcenter login
