        first of all, i migrate FAN to centreon from a server to a brand new server.

        I've restored all databases
        I've modified conf.pm and centreon.conf.php

        I'm able to connect to centreon interface but when i try to connect to host or service monitoring:
        Database Error: Could not connect to database.
        Please contact your administrator.

        • rename directory /usr/share/centreon/www/<random_name> to rename directory /usr/share/centreon/www/install >> I don't understand this
        • connect to Centreon UI and pass update steps >> how can i do this?
        • change Nagios configuration to Centreon engine configuration >> not able to do this because i can't connect database, maybe the _storage db.
        • change NDO configuration to Broker configuration >> how can i do this?

        thanks.

          Hi

          In your new system you have a directory something like /usr/share/centreon/www/vguJvS where "vguJvS" is the "<random_name>"

          For your error "Database Error: Could not connect to database. " it's because the access to ndo is not correct in your imported database with the new access defined during instlalation of the server.
          Before change "Nagios" to "Centreon Engine" and "NDO" to "Centreon Broker", you can update centreon_status database accès using folling SQL request:
          Code:
          mysql> use centreon;
          mysql> update cfg_ndo2db set db_name = "centreon_status";
          mysql> update cfg_ndo2db set db_user= "centreon";
          mysql> update cfg_ndo2db set db_pass = "<password from /etc/centreon/centreon.conf.php file>";
          Centreon Syslog Module Manager/Developper
          Centreon E2S Module Manager/Developper
          Centreon Enterprise Server (2.x / 3.x) : Centreon Engine 1.3.x / 1.4.x, Centreon Broker 2.6.x / 2.8.x , Centreon 2.x, Centreon-Syslog 1.5.x, Centreon E2S 2.0
          Nagios 3.x et NDOutil 1.x

            Thank you very much
            In update step i've got another issue :

            Currently upgrading database... please do not interrupt this process.

            2.4.5 to 2.5.0 OK
            2.5.0 to 2.5.1 OK
            2.5.1 to 2.5.2 DB Error: no such field
            You seem to be having trouble with your upgrade.
            You may refer to the line that causes problem in order to find out more about the issue.
            The SQL files are located in /usr/local/centreon/www/install/sql/
            But do not edit the SQL files unless you know what you are doing. Refresh this page when the problem is fixed
            .

            I've looked at sql files but there is a lot of sql files ^^
            How can i finish this step?
            Thank you.
