  • Problem with a custom command (Dell iDRAC check)

    Got the plugin pack from Github (https://github.com/centreon/centreon-plugins) and tried to use it specifically for Dell iDRAC

    It works on command line

    Code:
    [root@overwatch ~]# /usr/bin/perl /opt/centreon-plugins/centreon_plugins.pl --plugin hardware::server::dell::idrac::snmp::plugin --mode global-status --hostname=10.150.6.207 --snmp-version='2c' --snmp-community='some_password'
    CRITICAL: Overall global status is 'critical' |
    [root@overwatch ~]#

    But when using it, it's working as intended

    Code:
    [1547143602] [17510] SERVICE ALERT: Ceph1-iDrac;Check Ceph1 iDRAC Global Status;UNKNOWN;HARD;3;

    This is the command line I used on the UI

    Code:
    /usr/bin/perl /opt/centreon-plugins/centreon_plugins.pl --plugin hardware::server::dell::idrac::snmp::plugin --mode global-status --hostname=$HOSTADDRESS$ --snmp-version='$_HOSTSNMPVERSION$' --snmp-community='$_HOSTSNMPCOMMUNITY$'
    Any idea why it's failing?

    On the last version of CENTREON and for some scripts I had to activate the shell in the command menu. While on the previous version it worked very well without it.

      I tried with or without shell and with or without connector, still not working.
